Frank White is an author and space philosopher whose landmark book, The Overview Effect: Space Exploration and Human Evolution, introduced the term “Overview Effect” in 1987. He has authored or coauthored numerous books exploring space, climate change, artificial intelligence, and humanity’s future. His work inspired the short film Overview and has helped bring astronauts’ experiences of Earth as one interconnected system to millions of people.
